Conceptual framework of newborn Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings is defined by the Group Philosophy and the Group Vision.
While Mitsukoshi and Isetan will remain true to their long-standing corporate philosophies, this expresses the philosophy of unification which aims further evolution through management integration.

It conveys our determination to become the world’s foremost solution provider by interfacing with all our stakeholders. Moreover, the slogan embodies our corporate stance and articulates our commitment to ceaseless progress through value creation.
Logo
The logo of Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings, incorporating Isetan’s “I” and Mitsukoshi’s “M”, expresses the new company’s core value. Concretely, the logo, which can be interpreted as a stylized image of three people standing together with their arms around each other, symbolizes our commitment to interfacing with customers, coworkers, partners, shareholders, communities and society with integrity, flexibility and dynamism.
Furthermore, this sharply defined combination of geometric shapes expresses the excellence and the originality that set the Isetan Mitsukoshi Group apart from the rest of the retail and service industry.
The corporate colors are black and gold.
By using black, which is an expression of our strong determination, and gold, which is traditionally associated with treasure in Japan, the logo brings to mind the inherent tradition, culture and reliability of Mitsukoshi and Isetan. By virtue of its shape and colors, the logo symbolizes our starting point from where we shall fly ahead to the future.
